We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Manager to join our client's finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in finance or accounting who is looking to grow their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with purchase and sales ledger processing
  • Bank reconciliations and processing payments
  • Ensure full compliance with HMRC requirements
  • Handling supplier invoices and resolving queries
  • Compile annual and interim budgets in line with business objectives
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
  • Supporting the finance team with ad hoc administrative and accounting tasks

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude

Desirable
  • AAT qualification (or working towards it)
  • Experience within a construction environment
