Account Manager
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Based in East Yorkshire (office based with travel)
Renumeration: Competitive DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well established Hull based manufacturer who are at the forefront of renewables. This is a really exciting time to join as the company looks to continue its growth strategy in line with Group.
As the Account Manager you will report to the Head of Sales and be responsible for:
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
Project Coordination & Delivery
- Coordinate with internal teams including production and other account managers to deliver a high quality service according to client expectations.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities is an essential part of this role.
- Work toward meeting revenue targets
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
- Work alongside Business Development function when new clients are on-boarded
Account Planning & Strategy
- Develop strategic plans for each client account.
- Analyze account performance and suggest improvements.
- Monitor market trends to better serve clients.
- This role will focus on the businesses small to medium sized accounts so work closely with the Key Account Manager on accounts that could progress to key accounts.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare regular reports on account status, forecasts, and key metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of client communications and agreements using CRM tools.
Issue Resolution
- Handle client complaints or concerns efficiently.
- Escalate issues when needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with business development, production, and customer support teams.
- Participate in internal meetings to align on client goals and deliverables.
The successful Account Manager will have the following:
- Experience in renewables, waste, FMCG or commodity’s would be beneficial
- Experience managing and developing accounts is essential
- Experience with complex contracts for large accounts would be beneficial
- Ability to present to senior stakeholders with a high degree of articulation
- Experience of working across the UK rather than smaller territories would be beneficial
- Tenacious individuals who want to make things happen Â
- Excellent communication skills – Able to coach and develop a commercial function
