Pay Rate: 47 p/h via an umbrella company

What You'll Do:

  • Design with impact: Create mechanical systems and components that power advanced robotics in aerospace.
  • Innovate from the ground up: Develop and refine concepts, from sketches to fully functional prototypes.
  • Engineer for excellence: Perform simulations, stress analysis, and GD&T to ensure your designs are robust, safe, and production-ready.
  • Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with robotics engineers, automation experts, and manufacturing teams to bring ideas to life.
  • Own your work: Produce detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation that guide manufacturing and assembly.
  • See it in action: Support testing, validation, and deployment of your designs on real shop floors.






What You'll Bring:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Strong CAD skills (CATIA, 3DX preferred) and a solid grasp of mechanical design principles.
  • Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, or robotic systems is a big plus.
  • A practical mindset-you enjoy building, testing, and improving your designs.
  • A creative, problem-solving attitude and a passion for innovation
