On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Quality Lineside Engineer
on an initial 12 -month contract. As the Quality Lineside Engineer, you will contribute to investigations and root cause analysis into reported quality / quality technical issues from the business team and customer, to ensure appropriate containment and archiving, corrective and curative action is taken by the accountable function through multifunctional teams.

Role: Quality Lineside Engineer
Pay: 31.90 per hour Via Umbrella + Shift allowance
Location: Broughton
Contract: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week, 12 Months contract
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, attest and conduct surveillance to prevent FOD (foreign object debris)
  • Manage nonconformities as appropriate
  • To be the go-to person on the shop floor for Quality issues
  • To carry out Improvement, Prediction and Coaching as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Quality or engineering-based background (desirable) within a major manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to interpret drawings.
  • Ability to problem solve and use associated problem-solving tool sets (PPS, 5Y, Ishikawa etc)
  • Good interpersonal skills - ability to challenge appropriately whilst maintaining strong relationships.
  • Data analysis skills - interpret data sets, graphical data and draw conclusions.
  • Work well as part of an integrated team alongside operational and cross functional team members


Other

  • Double day shift pattern (alternating weeks) Week of mornings - 6:00am - 1:10pm, Week of afternoons - 1:30pm - 8:40pm
