Operations Support Team Member

Location: Broughton (on-site)

Hours: 35 per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)

Pay: 19.23/hr PAYE or 25.73/hr Umbrella

Overtime: Paid at premium rates (25% Mon-Fri, 50% Sat-Sun)

Security Clearance: BPSS+ (arranged by Airbus Security)

About the Role

Are you a proactive, organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Join our Operations Support Team and play a vital role in keeping our production running smoothly. You'll be part of a friendly, collaborative team, supporting both day-to-day operations and exciting improvement projects.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing and controlling cutting tool stock levels, regrind processes, consumables, and chemicals
  • Overseeing calibrated tooling to ensure compliance and acting as the link between calibration and operations
  • Raising purchase orders for tooling and maintenance requirements
  • Providing lineside support to production, helping to resolve blockers and enable smooth workflow
  • Liaising with facilities and maintenance teams to meet service level agreements and deliver on new requests
  • Supporting CAPEX, rate ramp-up, and facility improvement projects
  • Leading and participating in improvement initiatives
  • Supporting Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) topics

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with tooling knowledge
  • A self-starter who is motivated and able to hit the ground running
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach
  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and building positive relationships
