About the Role:
A global aviation and defence engineering company is looking for a proactive and commercially astute Procurement Specialist to join its Building & Construction team. This is a long-term temp opportunity to work on high-impact, multi-divisional procurement projects with international scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing, tendering, and contract negotiations to secure optimal purchasing conditions.
- Implement procurement strategies aligned with commodity and project teams.
- Manage procurement projects across divisions and geographies.
- Build and maintain a high-performing supply chain aligned with business goals.
- Ensure supplier deliverables meet contractual terms (cost, time, quality).
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and mitigate contractual risks.
- Drive savings initiatives through standardization, demand control, and volume aggregation.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams throughout the contract lifecycle.
What We're Looking For:
- Solid experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally in engineering or construction.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships and cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and compliance processes.
