You'll support the full product lifecycle-from concept to launch-while working closely with internal teams and external customers to deliver high-quality, commercially viable food products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the NPD team in keeping products on critical path timelines.
- Collaborate across departments and with external customers to ensure alignment.
- Implement and maintain product development documentation and processes.
- Write cooking and reheating instructions, and complete product attribute documentation.
- Conduct organoleptic and shelf-life testing to validate product performance.
- Participate in taste panels, benchmarking sessions, and product quality reviews.
- Prepare samples for presentations and manage air freight logistics.
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked development kitchen and manage raw material orders.
- Ensure timely completion of reports and administrative tasks.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Food Science or related field.
- 1-2 years' experience in an NPD role.
- Genuine interest in food trends and product innovation.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills.
- Numerically competent with solid Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Proactive, hands-on approach and ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (UK and internationally).
