1st Line IT Support Technician
Location: Broxbourne (Fully Office-Based)
Salary: 25,000 - 27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday

A growing IT services provider is seeking a proactive and customer-focused 1st Line IT Support Technician to join their dedicated team based in Broxbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for technology and problem-solving to build their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Working as part of a busy service desk, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for multiple clients, handling technical queries and issues via a ticketing system. They will provide timely and effective support, escalating more complex issues to the 2nd Line team when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1st line technical support to a range of clients, both remotely and in person
  • Accurately log and manage support tickets using the internal system
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure clear communication and updates to end users
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues in line with company procedures
  • Contribute to documentation and process improvements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a 1st line IT support or helpdesk role
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure
  • A professional and customer-centric approach to support
