An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Finance Assistant to join a dynamic finance team within a diverse group of trading entities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in transactional finance and is eager to enhance their skillset further.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily bank reporting and transaction processing
  • Monitoring and managing foreign currency contracts
  • Sales invoicing, including export sales and customer liaison
  • Monthly prepayments, accruals, and stock reporting
  • Payroll payments, journal entries, and departmental analysis
  • Managing inter-company transactions
  • Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and depreciation journals
  • Processing daily supplier and credit card payments
  • Monthly analysis of debtors and creditors
  • Financial reporting across multiple entities
  • Supporting annual audits and liaising with auditors
  • Providing cover for other finance team members as needed

About You:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience with Sage is Desirable
