Broster Buchanan are partnered with a higher education institute who are looking for a Business Analyst as they undergo a big change programme with the later stages of an ERP implementation. This would suit an experienced BA with exposure to change programmes, with a focus on the as is and to be.The role offers a salary of £50k - £57.3k and a hybrid working pattern with 4 days onsite in Buckingham and 1 day remote, with a great benefits package as outlined below.Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the effective communication of the project's objectives, timeframes, progress, challenges and corrections across key stakeholders and user populations
  • Communicate information on updated processes, policies and capabilities such that it lands with understanding and engagement for users and key stakeholders
  • Work with the Project Manager and other members involved in the project and wider programme to deliver the project's objectives and contribute effectively to the overall transformation programme
  • Establish effective teamworking relationships and practices with all relevant stakeholders to create an engaged and enthused broad user group and ensure appropriate inclusion of business and user requirements
  • Collaborate with personnel from the software supplier, and with other external agencies effectively
  • Participation with key stakeholders and relevant groups, providing feedback on services or product as required
  • Liaise with other projects as needed to ensure that key processes are optimised and fully integrated
  • Acquire and apply knowledge from external sources - such as Higher Education groups, software user groups - to identify and deliver best in class capabilities
  • Ensure the accuracy and control of system capabilities and processes, and of data feeds and information outputs
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support analysis and decision-making
  • Collaborate with data teams to implement data governance and quality control measures
  • Work closely with IT and directly involved teams to implement effective, streamlined operations
  • Assess project tasks, and build required activities, timings and resources into the project plan
  • Use expertise in Student Management System and reporting to shape and influence developments, resolve problems where there is a lack of precedent, and be innovative and creative to develop appropriate solutions
Requirements:
  • Good experience with system and process implementation, including data migration, detailing specifications, testing, documenting processes and training
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst either with ERP change projects or in higher education with similar change programmes
  • Expertise in data management and reporting to be able to shape and influence
  • developments, and be innovative to develop and implement appropriate solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, including for training and presentations
  • Effective and persuasive, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff at different levels within the University and with external agencies
