Site Engineer - HS2 (Buckingham)


Permanent | Competitive Salary + Package
Matchtech is seeking a Site Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering major works on HS2 in the Buckingham area. This is a great long-term opportunity for an engineer with experience in earthworks, drainage, utilities or structures to play a key role on one of the UK's flagship infrastructure projects.



Role Overview

  • Set out, survey and deliver works across earthworks, drainage, utilities or structures packages.
  • Support site delivery teams to ensure quality, safety and environmental standards are met.
  • Produce ITPs, as-builts, permits and site records.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, supervisors and the wider engineering team.
  • Contribute to progress reporting and problem solving on site.


Requirements


  • Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

  • Background in earthworks, drainage, utilities or structures.

  • Strong understanding of setting out, QA documentation and site safety.

  • Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree).

  • Full right to work in the UK.
