This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Credit Controller to provide a high level of professional support within the Accounting & Finance department of a renowned retail business in Buckingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for credit control and debt recovery, ensuring the timely collection of payments and maintaining accurate records.

Description

  • Manage the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of payments.
  • Monitor debtor balances and take appropriate action to ensure recovery.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date recording of financial transactions.
  • Prepare and present reports on the status of accounts.
  • Work closely with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, dealing with all enquiries in a professional manner.
  • Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • Adhere to all financial policies and procedures of the institution.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar credit controller or finance role.
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
