Key Responsibilities

Teach engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in Humanities subjects

Plan and deliver lessons that promote enquiry, critical thinking, and active learning

Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback and targeted support

Establish and maintain a positive, well-managed learning environment

Support curriculum development and contribute to wider school life

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes
Essential Criteria

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level

Strong subject knowledge and an ability to deliver content effectively

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Commitment to inclusive practice and high standards of student achievement
Desirable

Experience with exam board specifications and assessments (e.g., AQA, Edexcel)
