Role Overview:

Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of effective SEN policies and strategies.

Provide professional guidance to teaching and support staff regarding SEN teaching strategies.

Coordinate the creation and review of individual support plans and EHCPs.

Liaise with parents, external professionals, and local authorities to secure optimal provision.

Track student progress and ensure necessary adjustments to teaching and curriculum delivery.
Essential Requirements:

National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to undertake it).

Strong leadership and organisational skills with experience in SEN provision.

Knowledge of current SEND frameworks, including the Code of Practice and EHCP processes.

Ability to foster positive relationships with staff, students, and families.

Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
