We have a great opportunity for a Project Manager working with a fit-out contractor in the Milton Keynes area on an education fit out project.
About the role of Project Manager
We are looking for a dedicated client facing Project Manager to work on a 1.6m education fit out project It is essential that the manager is a program pusher, excellent at QA, and have a solid understanding of fit out packages.
The project is working on a boarding area of a private school involving light alteration works and a complete internal fit out.
You will be reporting to the Operations Director intermittently to update progress. Whilst managing the site & managing the program, you must also be maintaining a high standard of health & safety while ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
Requirements for the Project Manager
- Have CAT A / B Fit Out experience
- Carpentry / Joinery experience
- Ability to manage a program, writing short term look ahead and inserting drop lines
- Longevity in roles with some of the contractors in the industry
- Have experience in delivering commercial fit outs
- Experience and understanding of the floor plate of the building
- Understanding of programs and ability to handle minutes efficiently
- Experience successfully running fit out projects as a Site Manager on commercial projects
- Interpersonal skills so you can get on with the rest of the team
- SMSTS, First Aid, and Black Card/NVQ Level 6 certs
- DBS Cleared
