About Our Client

Our client is an established civil engineering specialist delivering groundworks, formwork, and reinforced concrete projects. With a strong reputation for quality and safety, they work with major clients on diverse projects from residential developments to commercial infrastructure.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join this growing team, managing the commercial aspects of both groundworks and in-situ concrete projects. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage tender processes including creation of bills of quantities
  • Compile material schedules and subcontractor requirements, issuing enquiries
  • Prepare tender submissions for director review and client return
  • Identify new project opportunities and liaise with clients to drive growth
  • Support construction programme production for tenders and live projects
  • Attend client pre-contract meetings as required
  • Collaborate with buyers on material requirements
  • Assist with monthly cost value reports and director reviews

Essential Requirements

  • Proven Quantity Surveyor experience in civils / groundworks / reinforced concrete
  • Strong tender preparation and commercial management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities for client liaison
  • Ability to work with senior management
