Are you passionate about life sciences? If so, we are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Assistant to join client's innovative team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant environment where your skills will make a real impact.
Due to the location of my client, it is essential that you have a vehicle, no public transport is available to site.
Position: Laboratory Assistant
Contract Type: Temporary - starting ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare samples accurately and efficiently using pipettes and vortex equipment.
- Employ good aseptic techniques to ensure the integrity of samples.
- Perform simple mathematical calculations, including serial dilutions.
- Maintain meticulous records of all experiments and procedures.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and precision in every task you undertake.
- Learn and apply specific practical techniques relevant to our projects.
- Work with various technical equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
What We're Looking For:
- You will have previous experience as a lab technician/assistant or relevant work placement experience.
- A strong willingness to learn and grow within the laboratory setting.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle technical equipment with care.
- Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
