We have a full-time permanent opportunity available within our Colors department at Tata Steel. This role is ideal for someone with in-depth electrical engineering knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving high voltage infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Manage the inspection, maintenance, and upgrade of high voltage electrical systems across the site.

Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and internal policies.

Provide technical support for capital projects involving HV systems.

Lead and coordinate planned maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults quickly and effectively.

Work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors.

Drive improvements to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and performance.
Essential requirements:
-
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Proven experience working with high voltage infrastructure in a heavy industrial environment.

In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in electrical maintenance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable requirements:

Driving licence and access to a car.

Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies or lean principles.
