Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Controller
- Full-time on-site in Broughton
- £37 per hour (via Umbrella)
- Initial Contract until April 2026
- BPSS clearance sponsored by the client
ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Our client is a leading global organisation operating at the forefront of engineering, manufacturing and aerospace innovation. Their Facilities Management & Real Estate (FMRE) team plays a vital role in creating a safe, inclusive and high-performing workplace. Due to ongoing projects at their Broughton site, we're looking to appoint an experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Controller to support the safe delivery of site operations and infrastructure works.
THE EHS CONTROLLER ROLE:
The EHS Controller will be embedded within the FMRE team and support risk management, contractor safety, compliance audits and the application of CDM Regulations and Building Safety legislation. You'll be a visible presence on-site, conducting safety inspections, reviewing safety documentation and ensuring all work-related incidents are investigated and resolved appropriately
EHS CONTROLLER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (minimum requirement)
- Strong experience with risk assessments and auditing techniques
- Knowledge of Facilities Management safety including construction & maintenance
- Understanding of legal compliance including CDM 2015
- Ability to lead site-based inspections and incident investigations
- Confident stakeholder communicator with a proactive attitude
- Membership of IOSH or similar professional body (desirable)
