MERITUS are recruiting for a Quality Lineside Engineer to join our client on an initial 12 month contract in a shift based role working from their major site in Broughton.

QUALITY LINESIDE ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - £31.90 PER HOUR - BROUGHTON, FLINTSHIRE - 12 MONTHS - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS

You will contribute to investigations and root cause analysis into reported quality / quality technical issues from the business team and customer, to ensure appropriate containment and archiving, corrective and curative action is taken by the accountable function through multifunctional teams.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

  • Operational Surveillance (process, product, people)
  • Process Improvement
  • Investigations and root cause analysis
  • Foreign object damage prevention
  • Opening / Closure of Non conformities where appropriate and support to the shop floor providing expertise in Q issues
  • Carrying out Predictive Quality activities and coaching to operations

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Inspect, attest and conduct surveillance to prevent FOD (foreign object debris)
  • Manage non conformities as appropriate
  • To be the go-to person on the shop floor for Quality issues
  • To carry out Improvement, Prediction and Coaching as appropriate.
