MERIUS Talent are working with one of the World's leading aerospace organisations for the recruitment of a Manufacturing Engineer to join the site in Flintshire. The role is an initial 12 month contract, fully onsite and paying £36 per hour via Umbrella.

Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineering Serial Process Engineer to join the production site in Broughton.

This role acts as a vital link between the Design Office, Manufacturing Engineering Team, and Production, with responsibility for managing and maintaining work instructions derived from technical drawings using the company's ERP system (SAP).

Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Define and write assembly work processes, create specifications for assembly tools, and establish methods for implementing modifications in production.

  • Ensure the consistency of manufacturing engineering dossiers with design dossiers.

  • Launch parts and assembly items, providing on-site support where required.

  • Prepare additional manufacturing engineering work instructions to manage disruptions or breakdowns.

  • Analyse and resolve anomalies from deviation measurements, optimise processes, and write concessions.

  • Contribute to defining the product, its production, and verification methods, as well as industrial work-sharing.

  • Propose Design/Production breakdowns to maintain consistency between reference elements.

  • Define manufacturing schedules and specify interfaces.

  • Analyse design dossiers and issue queries as required.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong knowledge of assembly systems, machining processes, and/or manual assembly methods (highly desirable).

  • Proven experience in work preparation/industrialisation (essential).

  • Curious, creative, and highly organised, with strong anticipation and teamwork skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace (essential).

  • Experience with SAP for work preparation (highly desirable).
