Site Manager
Location: Bude
Salary: 60,000 + Car package
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
Sphere Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading national contractor for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a large project in Bude.
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing site delivery, ensuring quality, health & safety compliance, and effective coordination of subcontractors. You will report to the Project Manager and play a key role in ensuring timely project completion to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to company standards.
- Manage risk, reporting upstream and implementing mitigation measures.
- Promote a strong safety culture on-site, conducting inductions, briefings, and toolbox talks.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure work aligns with specifications.
- Supervise deliveries, plant, equipment, and contract lifting plans.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.
- Oversee commissioning and ensure smooth project handover.
Experience & Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in site management within construction.
- Experience managing large infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of civils, steelwork, cladding & FFE packages.
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical services.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft packages.
- SMSTS & CSCS Card (Essential)
- H&S Qualification (Desirable)

- Salary circa 60,000 & Car package
