The Burford Recruitment Company are delighted to be supporting a private household in their search for an experienced and reliable housekeeper to join their dedicated team.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the team of housekeepers to ensure that all areas of the residence and associated buildings are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation.

You will take pride in your work, show great attention to detail, and demonstrate discretion and professionalism at all times. Flexibility is essential to accommodate the changing needs of the estate and its residents.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily cleaning and housekeeping duties across the main house and outbuildings.
  • Maintain immaculate standards in all rooms, including guest suites, reception areas, and staff quarters.
  • Handle fine furnishings, antiques, and delicate surfaces with appropriate care and attention.
  • Manage linen changes, laundry, and wardrobe care as required.
  • Assist with seasonal deep cleans and estate changeovers.
  • Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are maintained and stored safely.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Support estate events and functions with room preparation and service assistance as needed.
  • Uphold confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
