Premises Officer

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Premises Officer to join our dedicated team at a vibrant school in Littlehampton. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, well-motivated, and possess a range of skills including building management, maintenance, DIY, painting, decorating, caretaking, and gardening. This role is perfect for someone who values creativity and innovation, has excellent communication skills, and is ready to contribute to the safety and security of our school sites.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain the school environment to a high standard, ensuring it is safe and welcoming.
  • Deliver quality service in line with the school’s high standards.
  • Conduct compliance checks and complete mandatory reports.
  • Provide support to other centres as required.
  • Supervise and collaborate with cleaning staff and external contractors.
  • Contribute as an active member of a team of five premises officers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience with ICT software, particularly Office 365.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an educational or similar setting.
  • Demonstrated patience and flexibility.
  • Well-organised, highly motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
