JOB ROLE: Administration Co-ordinator

HOURS: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm 37.5 hours per week

About the Role:

As a key member of the Facilities Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our clients facilities. From managing maintenance schedules to liaising with external contractors, your work will help create a safe and efficient environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to requests via the Premises Helpdesk.
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance and service visits.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the Premises Department.
  • Maintain effective communication across the college and with external stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams and service providers.
  • Manage your workload efficiently, meeting deadlines and prioritising tasks.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

  • Strong IT and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A calm, solution-focused approach to emergencies and challenges.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Total proficiency with Microsoft programmes
  • Keen eye for detail, punctual and organisee
  • Very good accuracy and attention to detail
  • Administration background
  • Forward thinking, proactive and ability to use initiative
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Understand handling confidential information
  • Able to work as part of a team but also independently
