Quality Systems Specialist

Are you detail-oriented with a background in quality systems and aerospace standards?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading aerospace organisation currently undergoing an exciting transitional period involving new systems and operational set-ups. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a real impact during a pivotal time.

Location: Burgess Hill

Salary: £17.95 per hour (equivalent to £35,000 per annum)

Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary 6-12 months (approx.)

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, configure, and maintain new material requests across global sites.
  • Interpret technical drawings to ensure compliance with industry, customer, and FAA requirements.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support configuration management.
  • Audit and update system data to ensure material profiles are accurate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality assurance planning and process improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/training.
  • Strong ability to interpret material drawings/catalogues across different design holders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English with a solid understanding of aerospace hardware standards.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Knowledge of FAA authority and compliance.
  • Experience with Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA).
  • Exposure to lean or process improvement initiatives.
