As a Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will:
- Provide strategic and professional leadership to the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
- Work autonomously within the team to assess and manage communication impacts on daily life.
- Collaborate with service users and their social networks to overcome communication barriers.
- Develop management and rehabilitation plans, seeking specialist assessments as needed.
- Deliver training to staff and service users' social networks.
- Contribute to service and organisational development.
The Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist role offers:

- A Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Registration with the HCPC.
- Achieved Dysphagia Competencies.
- Specialist knowledge of SaLT models and interventions in ABI.
- Ability to manage complex dysphagia within an adult neurology caseload.
- Minimum of 4 years of qualified experience in complex case management.
