We have an excellent opportunity for a SENIOR EC&I DESIGN ENGINEER, with our Client based on the AWE Burghfield Site in Reading, Berkshire.
Candidates must already hold, or be eligible for higher level security clearance, hold a British Passport and not have worked outside the UK during the past 5 years.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The successful Candidate will provide designs for the Facility Design Authority (FDA) such that utilities, infrastructure, engineering processes, equipment and facilities are compliant with legislation, standards and requirements associated with engineering design throughout the facility lifecycle.
You will have extensive knowledge of legislation and standards applicable to engineering design.
Experienced in working within multi-discipline groups, producing designs across the life of an asset.
Extensive knowledge of legislation and standards associated with nuclear and high hazard facilities.
Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security & quality and be a great team player.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislative documentation/standards associated with design engineering.
Application of knowledge to confirm designs are prepared which comply with relevant legislation, standards and requirements.
Additional accountabilities for this role may be defined and appointed through the Chief Engineer.
