Accounts Receivable Controller | Burnley (Office Based) | £30-32k
Talentedge is supporting a well-established manufacturer in the Burnley area that is looking for someone to manage their accounts receivable function as well as assist with other areas of finance. This is a 12-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave.
To be considered for this role, you will have experience in accounts receivable and have good Excel skills including formulas, VLookups and pivot tables. This role also includes payroll prep responsibilities and experience in this would be advantageous but not essential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Processes and coordinates customer invoices.
- Verifies and posts customer transactions, such as funds received, reconciles to ledgers and/or cashbooks and databases.
- Prepares vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records, and reviews for accuracy.
- Reconciles general ledger accounts, intercompany transactions and bank statements.
- Maintains an efficient and effective Credit Control process.
- Controls customer deposits via IFS accounting software and a spreadsheet database.
- Updates and monitors Time and Attendance (T&A) clocking’s in IFS software.
- Collates weekly T&A information for submission to the Payroll Bureau.
- Calculates and processes the expenses for payment to employees.
