About The Role:

The company is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of air conditioning systems, including electrical components, and be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and accurately. This position requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Inspect, diagnose, repair and test faults in air conditioning systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance and identify any potential faults.
  • Conduct system performance tests and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • De-commissioning and strip-out of aged system
  • Knowledge of ductwork installation would be beneficial.
  • Be able to read and interpret room schematics and connectivity plans
  • Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Ensure all work carried out is logged in our online service management software that forms both internal and customer facing interaction and reports.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • FGas Certification.
  • UK Driving License.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • IPAF and Pasma training can be given.

Licence/Certification:

  • FGas Certificate (required)
  • UK Driving Licence (required)
  • IPAF and PASMA (preferred)
