About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and caring Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our team at a Lancashire County Council nursery based in Burnley. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the learning and development of young children in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and early education for children aged 0-5

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities aligned with the EYFS framework

  • Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child's development

  • Support children with additional needs, including those with SEN (experience desirable)

Requirements:

  • Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential)

  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting

  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach

  • SEN experience (desirable)

  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
