In this role, you will develop, optimise, and maintain laser cutting programs for precision aerospace components using TRUMPF laser systems. You will set up and run machines, select cutting parameters, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances and specifications. Working closely with engineering and production teams, you'll troubleshoot issues, improve cycle times, and maintain full documentation and program control. This role is based in Burnley 7:30 - 16:00 Monday-Thursday and finishing at 12:30 on a Friday.
This role would suit a Laser Programmer experienced with TRUMPF laser systems and precision engineering, seeking an autonomous role, the opportunity to boost earnings with a company bonus, and the chance to develop further through ongoing training and progression.
The Role:
- Develop and optimise laser cutting programs using TRUMPF systems
- Set up and run machines to meet tolerances
- Maintain accurate documentation and revisions
- Monday-Thursday (07:30-16:00) and Friday (07:30-12:30)
The Person:
- Experienced Laser Programmer/ Machinist (essential)
- Strong knowledge of TRUMPF laser systems and precision engineering
- Skilled in troubleshooting and process optimisation
- Commutable to Burnley
