Our client, a leading global player in aerospace manufacturing, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Support Engineerto join their team in Burnley. What You'll Be Doing

You will play a pivotal role in driving cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives across key programmes. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll support the integration of new business projects and ensure performance aligns with the company's strategic goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coordinating cost-down and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Monitoring and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Collaborating with engineering, supply chain, production, and quality teams

  • Supporting production teams to meet quality, cost, and timeline targets

  • Using data to inform process improvements and identify business risks

  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders to meet customer needs

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience

  • Prior experience working within an Aerospace Manufacturing environment
  • Proven background in project or operations management

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly sheet metal production

  • Demonstrated success in leading cost-down projects in a manufacturing environment

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

  • Preferred: Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification, factory floor experience, and knowledge of CAD or product design
