Experienced Support Workers

Pay: £12.60 PH Starting Salary

Shifts: Long Days, Nights, Waking Nights

We’re looking for experienced Support Workers in Burnley to join Precedo Healthcare on an Agency basis, working as a support worker in a residential service supporting adults with high level needs.

Our support workers will be working in a specially designed home and will be supporting residents with diverse and high level needs, on a 24/7 basis, some residents may be a 1:1 up to 3:1, we do therefore require support workers to have experience in similar challenging environments.

The properties consist of 5 recently refurbished houses each property has a separate, lockable kitchen area in addition to a lounge, dining area, 3 bedrooms and a private outdoor space.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing high-quality, person-centred care- with possible challenging situations
  • Supporting with daily tasks, medication, and routines
  • Engaging in a wide range of activities
  • Collaborating with residents to shape their own routines and goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months UK care experience as a support worker (essential)
  • Enhanced DBS required or willing to apply
  • Passionate about support work and building positive relationships
  • Comfortable with a high staff-to-resident support ratio (3:2:1 to 1:2:1)
