Looking for a role where you can make a real impact from day one?We are delighted to be working with a global organisation that's looking for a Group Accountant to join their expanding finance team near Litchfield. The business has gone through huge international growth over the last few years and has no plans to slow down. With operations in multiple countries they are a major player in their sector and this is your chance to be part of the next chapter.You'll be working closely with the Group Financial Controller, global finance teams, and senior leaders. It is a role with real variety and responsibility, covering everything from group reporting and audit to controls, consolidations and special projects. If you are looking to step into a role that is central to how a global business operates, this is a great opportunity.Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping prepare group accounts under IFRS and subsidiary accounts under FRS 102
  • Supporting the year-end audit process and keeping things on track
  • Producing monthly reports for the group and UK businesses
  • Looking after the group's holding companies and doing monthly reconciliations
  • Getting involved in acquisition accounting and helping standardise controls across the group
  • Working closely with global finance teams and being a go-to contact for technical queries
  • Jumping into group-wide projects and contributing to key initiatives

Candidate Experience, Skills and Attributes:

  • ACA qualified, ideally trained in a Top 10 firm
  • Solid technical background with IFRS and FRS 102
  • Experience with consolidations and a good grasp of financial controls
  • Confident communicator who is happy working with teams across different countries
  • Someone who is proactive, detail-focused, and enjoys variety in their role
  • Any exposure to M&A or international business is a bonus
  • Industry experience is useful but not essential - newly qualified candidates from practice are welcome too
