ERP Project Manager

Integration of an ERP system into UK & ES sites (they have selected JD Edwards) means that we need you and your experience of ERP project Management for an 12-18 month contract.

You will be going into a 10 million turnover business who are part of a much bigger multi-million-dollar group, so you might just want to come in and complete this project or you might find that once you have shown what you can do here your skills can be used within the group.

The ERP system is being rolled out across group, when we get to the implementation stage this will be implemented by a specialist team at group level, so although you need to understand what the ERP system is capable of when it comes to the super technical stuff you can leave that to the experts.

Currently they are operating with Pegasus software, therefore this is a completely blank canvas from an ERP point of view for you to get your hands on.

So, what do we need you for?

• To deliver the project on time
• To capture data
• To make recommendations for different ways of doing things
• To mediate with the departments making them realise the benefits of this migration.
• To process map, to understand how what they are doing now will translate into the new ERP system.
• To act as a go between at migration point
• To provide training & coaching on how to use the new ERP system.

There are 80 staff here across all departments and another 20 based in Spain, you know the reluctance people show to change, but you also know how to get their buy in, showing them how this implementation is going to make their life easier long term!

I see you as a data driven person, you love a spread sheet, the figures speak for themselves and you act on data, but I also see you as someone who is persuasive in nature, you are comfortable delivering training and acting as a mediator.

You will work alongside a very experienced General Manager, he is delegating this to you to enable him to continue on their business growth trajectory whist this project is going on.  This integration is critical to the business growth and the overall efficiency.

You will be someone who has spent their career rolling out ERP systems, if you have had experience of JD Edwards directly this would be the icing on the cake, but if you haven't as long as your experience is around everything mentioned above then we would be interested in hearing from you.

You are joining a company whose products really do change the lives of their owners, once they have this new ERP system in place you know that order control, production and delivery will all be impacted in a positive way meaning that they will have the capacity to help even more people with their product.

The hours are great here too 8-5pm Monday - Thursday and finishing at 2pm (and yes, they literally chuck you out) means that your Friday afternoons are your own.
