Job Title: Responsible Individual - Children

Location: Chasetown, Burntwood, UK

Salary: 65,000 per annum

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Responsible Individual to join our team in Chasetown. As the Responsible Individual for our Children's services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in our care.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for all regulatory bodies and local authorities
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and support to the staff team, ensuring high-quality care is delivered at all times
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery and make necessary improvements
  • Ensure that all safeguarding concerns are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to meet the needs of the service
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of care
  • Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior management role within Children's services
  • Relevant professional qualification in Social Work, Health, or related field
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, such as the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and developing a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies and stakeholders
  • Passion for promoting the well-being and development of children and young people
