Experience with ISO 14001 systems is preferred, and the role requires a strong focus on compliance and continuous improvement.
The salary offered is up to £70,000 depending on experience, along with a benefits package.

Itisareallyexcitingtimetojoinastheygothroughapositivetransitionphaseinmanagement,continuewiththeirambitiousgrowthplansandopentheirnewfactory.

ReportingintotheOpsDirectorandmanagingteamof3,youwillleadtheSHEQfunctionforthebusinessacrossthefactory.YouwillberesponsibleforshapingandimplementtheHealth,Safety,EnvironmentandQualitystrategywhileoverseeingthemanagementofSHEQpolicies,plans,systems,andtraining.

Youwill:

Leadandcoordinatetheteam,settingandcommunicatingthevision.
Workcloselywithotherdepartmentstoachieveobjectives,systemscompliance,safetyandqualitycultureandcontinuousimprovement.
Ensurethebusinessaremeetingtheirlegislativerequirements/codesofpracticewhilemonitoringandreportingondepartmentperformance,guidingbestpracticeandmakingsuggestionsforimprovements.
DevelopandmaintainQuality,Environmental,andHealthandSafetymanagementsystemsthatalignwiththerequirementsofcurrentISOstandards.

Whatwearelookingfor:

AnexperiencedHSEManagerwithpeoplemanagementexperience.
Manufacturingexperienceisessential-ideallychemical,pharmaorFMCGbutothermanufacturingwillbeconsidered.
NEBOSHCertificatelevelqualifiedasaminimumcombinedwiththeexperiencelevelweneed.
ISO14001systemsexperiencewouldbeadvantageous.

Thesalaryonofferisupto70,000DOE+package.
