Internal Sales Engineer | Burntwood, Staffordshire | Full Time | £32,000 – £35,000 per annum (plus performance-based earning potential)

Our client is a specialist industrial services provider offering a wide range of geared motors and drive products to a broad spectrum of industries.  Their products keep many processes in motion, and they are all around in people’s daily lives.  Used for luggage handling at airports to food processing, water treatment plants and hospitals.

 Are you the right person for the job?

  • Previous experience in an internal sales environment (engineering preferred)
  • A stable employment history
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks and work accurately under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a customer-first mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and sales operating tools

What will your role look like?

  • Liaising with customers daily via email and telephone to manage enquiries and orders.        
  • Processing quotations and orders, and updating progress in the CRM system
  • Keeping customer records accurate and up to date
  • Working with the Operations Manager to provide order progress updates to customers
  • Supporting the Sales Manager with product selections and developing self-sufficiency in technical enquiries
  • Uploading drawings to confirm customer requirements
  • Liaising with the Accounts team regarding payments and processing transactions
