Description

• Prepare and analyse cost reports to support decision-making processes.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs to ensure budgetary compliance.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate financial data.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for the Accounting & Finance team.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for implementation.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.

Profile

A successful Cost Accountant should have:

• A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
• Proven experience in cost accounting within the FMCG industry.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
• The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to identifying and solving financial challenges.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary between GBP 50,000 and GBP 55,000.
