Curriculum Team Leader - Business and Enterprise Full Time, 37 hours per week Salary: £38,180 - £40,511 per annum Burton on Trent, Town Centre Campus
Who are we looking for?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Curriculum Team Leader (CTL) within the Business and Enterprise Department. The department offers a broad range of courses from Level 1 up to Level 5 including both 16-19 and adult learning courses.
As a Curriculum Team Leader you will support the Director of Curriculum in managing and guiding the curriculum team to achieve targets and objectives across the curriculum areas in line with an agreed set of critical success factors. The role has a particular focus on teaching, learning and assessment and performance management across our Business and Accounting courses.
Applicants should have a working knowledge and experience within the areas of Business and Accounting with a strong understanding of the requirements of further and higher education. The successful candidate will teach across a range of courses and modules aligned to their skillset to deliver high quality provision to our learners. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate innovative teaching and learning, coupled with excellent communication skills to motivate and guide learners to succeed.
Applicants will ideally hold a relevant Higher Education qualification in Business, Accounting or related subjects and have industry experience alongside appropriate teaching and assessing qualifications.
Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
