Job Title: Farm Worker
Location: Barton-Under-Needwood
Contract Type: Temporary

Pay Rate:12.21

Shift Pattern:

50-hour work week, including weekends
12 days on, 2 days off
Daily hours: 4 to 5 hours between 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

General care and welfare of chickens
Daily cleaning and sanitation tasks
Removal of deceased livestock
Monitoring and maintaining adequate food and water supply
Practicing good stockmanship
Reporting any health or welfare concerns promptly

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence
Physically fit and reliable
Willingness to work weekends and long hours
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential):

Experience operating tractors and loaders
Previous farm work or livestock experience

Training:

Full training provided on site, including animal welfare and equipment use
