Customer Helpline Advisor - 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Location: Hybrid (Office in Burton-on-Trent - Mon-Weds in office, Thurs-Sun remote)
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Contract: 6-Month FTC (May - End of October)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis (8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, 12pm-8pm), including weekend cover

Are you a proactive, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? SF Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant, supportive team as a Customer Helpline Advisor during their busiest season!

As the first point of contact for customers, you'll be instrumental in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. You'll act as a triage point for inbound calls and emails, resolving issues directly or liaising with suppliers and managers for escalated matters. You'll be joining a warm, collaborative team of 4 full-time and 1 part-time advisors.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Handling high volumes of inbound calls and emails from guests, clients, and partners 
  • Logging issues accurately into the system for follow-up by the wider team
  • Resolving queries where possible, or escalating to the appropriate contacts
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support across a variety of concerns
  • Working flexibly across a rota including weekends and varying shift times

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment
  • A calm, professional, and empathetic communication style
  • Ability to think on your feet - no two calls are the same!
  • Confident using systems and logging information accurately
  • Flexibility to work a rota across a 7-day week and various shift patterns
