Job Summary

This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and materials. Should you not be located locally we are open to contributing to your transport costs to work. Should you have experience in other areas of fabrication that would be a bonus!
Duties
- Fabricate metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Perform welding tasks in steel and aluminium.
- Assemble metal parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Operate machinery for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal products.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency in the fabrication area.
Skills
- Proficient in welding steel and aluminium
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with power tools and hand tools used in metal fabrication.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Ability to work with sheet metal and other materials effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: Up to £17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 42.5 per week
