Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Proposal Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and preparing technical proposals for engineering projects, ensuring that all specifications and requirements are met. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Duties
- Prepare comprehensive technical proposals in response to client requests, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to gather necessary information and insights for proposal development.
- Utilise software tools such as Revit, MATLAB, Simulink, and MicroStation to support proposal creation.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to inform proposal strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices relevant to proposals.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules and resource allocation plans.
- Present proposals to clients and stakeholders, addressing questions and providing clarifications as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in software tools including Revit, MATLAB, Simulink, MicroStation, C++, and Perl is advantageous.
- Familiarity with soldering techniques and surface mount technology is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of logic controllers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in proposal preparation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new technologies.
