Job Title: Radiator Operative
Location: Barton Under Needwood, Staffordshire ( own transport is recommended due to location)
Duration: Contract
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 16:00
* Friday - 07:00 to 13:00
* Overtime is available.
Our Engineering client has a position for a Radiator Operative for a minimum of 3 months.
The role of the operative is to carry out mandatory services and associated repairs.
Responsibilities:
* Working in a manual environment, the role is air under water pressure test product after weld process
* Ability to read engineering drawings preferred but not essential as training will be provided
* Checking quality of parts before and after process
* Grinding/fettling product
* Kitting parts to line
* PPE supplied; safety glasses, ear protection, overalls, gloves, safety boots (and visors where relevant)
* To undertake training as and when required.
* To work within a realistic timeframe.
* To mentor trainees / apprentices when applicable.
* To ensure that waste is disposed of in the correct manner.
* To adhere to written or verbal instructions.

*Vibrating plant/tools/ equipment
