SEND Teaching Assistant (Full Time/Temporary)

At Vision for Education, we are dedicated to supporting schools in delivering the highest quality education to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are currently looking for a passionate and committed SEND Teacher to join an independent school in Lincoln, which caters to children aged 11-19 with severe and profound learning disabilities, as well as those on the autism spectrum and with complex care needs.
The school's mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where students can reach their full potential.

Requirements
To be considered for the position of SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEND.

• Assisting individual students with their learning and personal care needs, ensuring they are fully included in class activities.

• Helping to create and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.

• Working closely with other teaching staff, support workers, and families to promote the well-being and progress of students.

• Monitoring and tracking students' progress, providing feedback to teachers on how to best support their development.

• Ensuring students' safety and well-being during class activities and break times.
