Are you an immediately available HR Officer with experience supporting on employee relations cases?

We are working with a large matrix organisation in Burton on Trent who are looking for a HR Officer to support the Business Partner with duties including:

  • Assisting investigations into employee relations cases
  • Act as the first point of contact for general HR queries from employees and line managers
  • Assisting with new starters; issuing contacts, right to work checks, new starter packs
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR system with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Help to coordinate training and development activities as required
  • Support the HR Business Partner in day-to-day HR operations and project delivery

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm with some flexibility on start & finish times and offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office.

For this role we are looking for experienced HR Officers who are proactive and thrive working in a fast-paced high volume environment and are experienced in supporting with employee relations cases from absence management to disciplinaries and performance management.

You will ideally be CIPD qualified or be able to demonstrate up to date and in-depth knowledge within UK employment law with a Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.

You will have excellent communication skills with proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Officer to work closely with a HR Business Partner, working in a large matrix organisation and offer support across the employee lifecycle.
