Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding systems that provide safe access for workers on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work effectively with various materials and tools.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety standards.
• Assemble and disassemble scaffolding systems on-site, ensuring stability and safety.
• Use hand tools and power tools proficiently to complete tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, electricians, and masons to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding for safety compliance and make necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in painting, roofing, or other related tasks as required by the project.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing, masonry, and roofing techniques is advantageous.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to scaffold construction.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations within the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Physical fitness is essential as the role involves lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
• A valid construction-related certification or training would be beneficial.
