The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a successful private equity backed B2C focussed business who are known for delivering exceptional, high-value customer experiences.

They are undertaking a significant expansion in North America, which require an upgrade to the digital estate to make it suitable for the North American market.

This will be a 9-12 month contract for an experienced Website Manager to make a significant impact on the digital performance of this newly created digital platform,

that needs to meet the requirements of a new source market and deliver incremental sales online.

The primary objective of this role will be to ensure the website is optimised and managed to improve leads and sales conversions, supporting North American marketing channels and maximising revenue and profitability across new and existing customers. You will be collaborating with key stakeholders and co-ordinating e-commerce marketing plans working closely with the Digital and E-Commerce Team to follow best practice guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver the North America e-commerce strategy to drive online sales, leads, and customer loyalty.
  • Manage and update website content, ensuring it’s fresh, SEO-optimized, and tailored to the US audience.
  • Oversee product launches online, collaborating with Content, Product, and Brand teams to showcase products effectively.
  • Create and manage the e-commerce trading calendar, aligning with seasonal trends and commercial targets.
  • Enhance the customer journey through landing pages, promotions, merchandising, and personalization tactics.
  • Own key website performance reporting, providing insights and driving action plans to optimize results.
  • Work closely with analytics teams to track web, customer, and booking data, identifying trends and opportunities.
  • Lead CRO initiatives and support website development to improve conversion and user experience.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations to keep the website competitive and cutting-edge.

About You

  • Management experience in e-commerce trading and merchandising with a proven track record of delivering growth.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
  • Strong written English, with an understanding of correct spelling and grammar, and excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the US Market preferable
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making and strategy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly to changing tactical priorities.
  • Strong understanding and ideally experience in all digital channels including email marketing, Paid media advertising, SEO, and social media marketing.
